- Make Strong Word Choices: Your job wasn’t “bookkeeping”. It was ” Management of A/R and A/P accounts” Whenever possible use words like”organized, managed, and supervised”
- Use Titles and Headings that Match the Job You Want
Correctly showing off your skills can be the ticket to more interviews and higher salary offers. Check and double check your resume to make sure it is as powerful as possible. Use strong verbs, attention grabbing titles, and be sure to match your descriptions to the job you are applying for. Confidence is key - remember that your resume is nothing more than an advertisement for a very important product - YOU!
